Hot on this rise week 2

we looked at Michael Choice last week, now we are looking into Jackie Bradley Jr. this kid has game MVP of the College world series last year. Started off this year with a bang, went 4 for 4 and knocked one out. His bowman platinum goes for a good 17-25$ around that range i got mine for 20, i say a good time to sell the platinum's would be if he gets drafted in the top five sell them that night, you'll make your money. Also his first bowman chrome auto goes for 100 or more but still good buy this kid is sick!

Derek Jeter (Newcoke Post 5)

Yankee's superstar Derek Jeter is just 74 hits awaY from becoming the 28th person in historY to reach 3000 hits. with manY factors such as age and pressure maY prevent this veteran from reaching this feat. Jeter is 36 ears old, the team leader of one of the best franchises in the MLB, and has a wife and kids. Now I'm not saYing he won't reach this feat I'm saYing it will be a challenge. Do You think Jeter will achieve this feat? Vote on the poll.

New Coke Vintage Card Steal of the Week

This weeks steal of the week is the rookie card of Willie Stargell. During the 60's with the Pittsburgh Pirates (yes, they were actually a great team back then), he was there go to man. Along with Roberto Clemete, the Pirates seemed unbeatable. Willie was a powerful hitter, and even holds the record at some stadiums for longest homerun. Let me tell you that this left fielder is no Ryan Lief. Valued at $120, his rookie card is definitely a steal, considering that he played for arguably the best team of the 60's and 70's.

HOT ON THE RISE [week 1]

Hello, this is a new theme every 3-7 days I will have an on the rise player that you should buy into right now! Today for Part 1 of this weekly segment, the topic of discussion will be Michael Choice the prospect on the Athletics, he was the tenth overall pick in the 2010 Draft, he is very young but cards do go up when a prospect does well in the minor leagues. What this kid looks like is a guy with power in just 27 Northwestern League games he sent out 7 home runs, knocked in 26 RBIs, and batted about 284. Those are not bad numbers for just 27 games, he has great potential, but is very young. I am very impressed with the fact that he hit for average as well as power 284 is a darn good average, I mean Adam Dunn is a top MLB player he hits for power but could never really get the average were he wanted it, Michael Choice is hitting for average and power, that is something very special. He will probably start out the year in A or AA, but by the way he played in the Northwestern League I could see him defiantly playing well in the minors, this minor league year is a big year to determine his ETA, if he starts off this year well, we could see him in the majors in 2012 or 2013. I would say buy into his cards right now! his refractor auto, goes for about 30$ on eBay, and will rise depending on his play this season in the minors. If he does well which I predict him to do well thats gone from a 30$ card to at least 40-50$. His regular autograph goes for about 20$, his stuff is very cheap, and he is a dang good prospect.

I got his statics and when he was drafted from this link

Dustin Ackley

The Carolina Kid is The Seatlle Mariners Top Prospect but sure hasnt been playing like it. In AA and AAA Ackley his batting average was in the mid to upper .200s. Ackley plays second base and even with his bad batting average he is still moving up the ranks in the Mariners Farm system. If he keeps playing the way he has been he will not live up to his high expectations.

Are the Braves Going to be Good this Year? (Newcoke post 3)

Are the Atlanta Braves going to actually make a run for the money this year and turn the table on a long line of average seasons? Ever since Sid Bream slid, and a miracle happened against the Pitssburgh atrocity that is the Pirates, the Braves haven't been of much relevance. With Bobby Cox gone, and Omar Infante to the Marlins for Dan Uggla, I honestly have no idea what is going to transpire this season. Hopefully, with the trades that the Braves have made and the new, untested manager, the Braves will probably become the wild card this year second to, you guessed it, the New York Mets. Of course, that prediction might be a little far-fetched, and even though the Phillies have been annoyingly good for the last three seasons, I think the quiet Mets might pull something out their bag of tricks.

Key Loss as Andy Pettitte Retires (Newcoke Post 2)

Andy Pettitte retired yesterday. He was a key pitcher for the Yankees in throughout his career, maily due to his playoff success. He has one 19 post-season games, more than any other pitcher in history. Now that he is gone, the Bronx Bombers are going to have trouble finding the "perfect rotation" that they have strived for. With AJ Burnett coming off the worst season in his career, and one of the worst in Yankee's history. Because the Red Sox now have the desireable team in the east, picking up some key additions, it is sure to be a tough season for one of America's all-time greats.

Mike Trout

Some of you may know Mike Trout from the 2011 top prospects list where he ranked number one overall. The young outfielder in the Angels Farm system has a lot of potential. With batting averages in the high three hundreds this kid is sure to be a hit!
His card prices are flying through the roof! This Kid is freaky fast; He kind of reminds me of a young Ichiro. The young Trout is expect to be in AA very soon. He is expected to be in the big leagues by mid 2012 but could be up even earlier.

Jameson Taillon #2 Overall Draftee

When you think of the 2010 amateur baseball draft what comes to mind? The average baseball fan would think of Bryce Harper. The cover boy,The prodigy,THE KID! Nobody thinks of the possibility of anyone going over him at No.1 Taillon was the No.2 overall pick in last years draft. If the Nats did not take Strasburg with No.1 overall pick in the 09 draft. They would have picked up Taillon with No.1 pick in 2010 draft. Look for his Aflac auto for 90-100. Bumgarners aflac is easily 250-300. Taillon is BlAzZzZiN

New Coke Vintage Card Steal of the Week

The steal of the week this week is Rickey Henderson's rookie card. It books at only $60 you think the rookie of the "man of steal" would be in high demmand I mean he only shattered records that were achieved by the great Lou Brock and more. To check out his stats follow the link below.
