The Yankees, signed Russel martin this past off season, and will it pay out?
They have one of the best prospects in baseball Jesus Montero. Montero is a very talented hitter probably in the top 3 catching prospects right now! Martin is an aging vet, don't get me wrong martin is probably the best fielding catcher in the game today, and want of the best catchers of the decade, but was it really worth it? To sign him, when you have Posada, as your DH. Posada is a future HOF, if all goes well, but if I were the Yankees I would keep Posada, as my Catcher, and let montero start the year out in NY and be the DH.
